July 12, 2006: Superman Returns Videogame Soundtrack

EA Games and Nettwerk have released the soundtrack to "Superman Returns: The Videogame".

Available as a 82mb download via either Werkshop.com or Apple's iTunes store, the score for the game includes all 19 tracks as MP3 files.

According to BlueTights.net, the score for the video game was recorded with a 75-piece orchestra in Slovakia's Capital City: Bratislava. It features entirely new thematic material for a variety of legacy characters including Superman, Bizarro, Lex Luthor, Metallo, Mongul and Riot. Over 100 minutes of music were produced for the game. This pre-release version of the score features 45 minutes of the key epic moments. Additional music will be available this Fall to coincide with the release of the game.

The score was composed by Colin O'Malley, an Emmy-nominated composer for feature films, television and interactive entertainment.

The videogame will be released in October, and is available for pre-order now.
