Who's Who in the Superman Comics

D'Neige, Simone

Simone D'Neige was first seen as a reporter at Le Journal Du Monde in Paris. She met Clark Kent when he was in Paris the summer after he graduated from college. Simone became his mentor, with all the "private tutoring" that involved. She dropped him, however, when he canceled an interview to save a bus of tourists (AOS #0). She appeared in Metropolis when Franklin Stern hired her to boost the Planet's circulation (AOS #544). Clark Kent, Lois Lane, and Perry White objected to her attempts to sensationalize the headlines, and Lois objected to her proprietary attitude towards Clark. One of the few Daily Planet employees not fired by Lex Luthor, Simone became Lois Lane's boss at LexCom. It is unknown at this stage if she still works for LexCom or the new Daily Planet.
