Who's Who in the Superman Comics

Big Barda

Big Barda

Big Barda is one of the strongest woman in the known universe. Raised on Apokolips in Granny Goodness's Orphanage, Barda proved her fighting skills and became the leader of Granny's Female Furies. However, when she was elevated to become a part of Darkseid's Special Powers Force, she encountered Scott Free. Truly benevolent, Barda aided Free in his escape from Apokolips. When Darkseid declared war against New Genesis, Barda rebelled, and helped Mister Miracle fight the dark tyrant. Eventually marrying Mister Miracle, Big Barda became an adventurer and heroine. She recently joined the Justice League, and fought villainy alongside Superman, Wonder Woman, and her fellow New God, Orion.

At 6' 2", Big Barda is hard to miss. Her main weapon is her mega-rod. She uses it to fly, fire energy blasts at foes, and increase the density of individuals opposing her.
