Who's Who in the Superman Comics

Bloodthirst

Bloodthirst

An evil counterpart of Superman, Bloodthirst is a demonic monstrosity who claims to have existed for thousands of years. He enjoys creating chaos, strife, and destruction. Having a massive appearance, Bloodthirst apparently is cybernetic in form. His body has several tubes connected to it, and he also has bizarre pores on his arms and legs, which spew green gasses.

Bloodthirst orchestrated a horrific massacre throughout Metropolis, using Bloodsport and Hi-Tech as agents of murder. At the end of his plan, he made a dramatic appearance, and fought Superman. While The Man of Might was clearly the victor, bashing Bloodthirst through signs and buildings, the evil mastermind transported himself away. Seemingly satisfied in the "exercise" and carnage left in Metropolis, Bloodthirst retired to his headquarters.

One major ability of Bloodthirst's is the power to physically change his appearance. Already, he may be manipulating mankind into more malevolence. Whether Superman can stop him remains to be seen.

Bloodthirst appeared in the Spilled Blood storyline which was in the following issues:

Spilled Blood: First Cut - AOS #507

Spilled Blood: Second Cut - ACT #694

Spilled Blood: Final Cut - MOS #29
