It is New Year's Eve and Wayne Enterprises is holding a huge party in Times Square. Batman is otherwise engaged with the cult group Kobra. Deadshot is nearby and joins in the chase but the Kobras up the ante with mutation pills that make them into huge reptilian beasts. Superman and Wonder Woman arrive to assist and are taken aback that Bruce would join forces with a hired killer. Deadshot reveals that Kobra have kidnapped his daughter and he's only been granted freedom from Waller's custody to rescue her. Kobra it turns out have decided that the Wayne Enterprises party should go out with a bang and their leader plans to detonate a quantum bomb, which is so powerful it could kill even the Trinity. Despite their distrust in him, Deadshot lands a head shot saving everyone. Batman and Deadshot come to the realization that Zoe was never anywhere near the party. Where could she be and what will be Lawton's fate?

4Story - 4: This was an interesting story that looked into the psyche of Batman as a parent and his feelings towards Damian. Lawton is a much darker reflection of Bruce; something both Diana and Clark touch upon in the dialogue.

The countdown was an interesting twist with obvious shades of TV series '24' but I'm not sure the story worked well.

I don't feel this was as strong a story as it could have been. It was an interesting glimpse into Bruce Wayne but Diana and Clark were left as set pieces that stayed very two dimensional.

3Art - 3: I find this art style reminiscent of the 1990s. It's big, loud and to an extent that works. Where it begins to falter is when depth is required. The inking is sparse and the page & panel composition feels unfinished.

3Cover Art - 3: Just as I mentioned that 90s era feel to the interior art the main cover illustrates the same. Everything feels flat.

5Variant Cover Art - 5: This book is at its strongest when it concentrates on its concept. The Trinity here commands the space in a way the main cover does not. This cover has atmosphere, strength and is visually arresting. I only wish the rest of the book matched this.
