The League is still under scrutiny, now with a murder charge in the mix. Congress is questioning Superman about the League's recent actions and asks, "How do you subpoena a wrath?" Superman tries to reassure them that the League is made up of men and women of good will who choose anonymity out of an abundance of caution. After a brief backstory we are introduced to The Fan, a man who idolizes the Justice League. Probably the person who impersonated Batman last issue, and the one who takes Simon Baz off the playing field this issue. He is also able to infiltrate the Watchtower's system before Cyborg realizes what was going on. Disguised as a Green Lantern, The Fan goes to a local TV station and attempts to interrupt a broadcast of two people arguing over the recent actions of the Justice League. It was a setup as Aquaman and Wonder Woman reveal themselves to be the host and guest and the League take out The Fan. The League asks themselves what to do with him as he knows too much about them, and can never be allowed to testify when the League starts to be beamed away. The Fan lies on the ground laughing.

4Story - 4: Like the previous issues, Priest packs so much into this story it took me a couple read throughs to fully grasp this story. Interesting to note in the flashback of The Fan's background, the Martian Manhunter was used and unless I am mistaken the first time we have seen him in the book since Rebirth began. Over all this story is a great read and is breathing new life into a book that was rather flat for a long time. I have said it before and I will say it again, if you gave up on this book, please go back to the beginning of Priest's run and give this book another shot.

4Art - 4: I think that this is my first exposure to the talents of Philippe Briones, and I would love to see more. I had a few issues with a couple of panels, for example on the bottom of page one, two panels of Superman, the first looks nondescript while the second is well defined, a great panel. This happens quite a bit throughout the book, but not enough to give this book a lower rating. For me a step up from the previous artist and would love to see another issue from this artist.

2Cover Art - 2: While after the read through the cover makes sense, the person responsible for the murder is revealed. The art just does not do a thing for me. Facial expressions just all look wrong. A little more detail might have done this cover good, but please don't bypass this book because of the cover, the actual story inside is good.
