The Justice/Doom War has ended, but its conclusion is not what one might have expected.

J'onn J'onzz is trying to reach every mind possible while psychically running from Pertpetua. He believes he has succeeded in helping them aid the side of Justice until the Doom sigil reappears in the skies. The timely intervention of the Quintessence - a group of cosmic beings consisting of Olympian god Zeus, universal guardian Ganthet, the wizard Shazam, Highfather of the New Gods and the Phantom Stranger - saved the Justice League form total extermination at the hands of Perpetua. Now, the Spectre has led Superman and his teammates to a door that leads to something mortal the Quintessence is protecting. Should they enter they encounter all actions from the past, present and future while searching for this being. Yet, if they don't try something, the menace of Perpetua could annihilate them.

5Story - 5: That was not the ending I expected for this story arc. That's not a bad thing. In fact, Scott Snyder tends to turn stories on their ear with twists and surprise conclusions. This is one of the things that keeps me coming back to this series, and it's what allowed me to give Snyder's past works, in which I wasn't much of a fan at first, another chance. He'll be a hard act to follow when another writer takes on the Justice League.

5Art - 5: For a comic with three artists, it sure doesn't look that way. The visuals give this story the epic feeling it deserves. Every page is perfectly drawn.

3Cover Art - 3: This was an odd choice for a main cover. I wasn't really sure how to rate it. I don't completely hate it, yet, something feels off about it. I don't quite understand what that is as of this writing.

5Variant Cover Art - 5: This variant looks a bit rough, but that's typical of Kenneth Rocafort's style. That is what makes it such an amazing cover.
