Superman is taking a day off to hold up the sky for Atlas, he does this so that Atlas can attend his daughter's wedding. Lois pushes Perry to publish that Superman is taking the day off to motivate people to be on their best behavior. As the day goes on multiple superheroes and regular citizens step up to fill in for Superman. We see Supergirl, Black Canary, Firestorm, and The Flash. Lois convinces Perry that everyone was inspired by Superman, so even in his absence he is making the city better. In the end Atlas returns and after a brief conversation, takes the sky from Superman. In the epilogue we see General Lane talking to Metallo about bringing Superman down.

5Story - 5: What a cool story idea. Discovering that Superman would hold up the sky so that Atlas could attend his daughter's wedding is just so... Superman. Again, Venditti gets Superman/Clark. As well, portraying the city and other superheroes standing up for each other against villains trying to take advantage always gets me excited. This was a fun little tale that was easy to read and really nailed who Superman is, and who Lois is as well. Her role in the story, reporting on events and witnessing the city's reaction was perfect too. Great job.

3Art - 3: Inks were heavy in this issue and the colors looked oversaturated which is slightly distracting. The shading is also too dark which creates greater valleys and crevices that hurt the overall art style.
