At the Kent Farm, Hunter, Wonder Woman's "son" from the future, is having dinner with the Kents. He is explaining to Jon how big he becomes in the future. He again brings up Damien but cuts himself off of telling Clark what happens to him in the future. Clark offers Hunter a shower and some clean clothes. Excited, Jon leads him up to his room and says, "You can tell me how cool it will look in the future." Clark apologizes to Lois for bringing him home. He also questions if what the League did against the Kindred was the right thing? How they never bothered to find out what they were doing, they saw a threat and dealt with it, and now it may be too late.

Mera and Eldora, Cyborg and Cube, Flash and Jesica Cruz and the three other children all take a little time getting to know each other. Baz is at a quarantined Midway City, after checking himself and others for infections he thinks he hears a voice say, ÒHere. Like Before. Different. More. Find. Grow. Feed. Feast.Ó

Back at the Kent Farm, Clark and Hunter share a moment. Clark asks what happens to Jon. Hunter replies, "He fought and died at your side". And Lois? Hunter lowers his head and just replies, "Sorry." Clark says, "We will stop the future". But Hunter doesn't believe they can.

Back at the Watchtower, Wonder Woman is remembering her role with the Kindred, and what they made her feel. The war that is coming, what if it is a war with her? Cube, who has been connected to the Watchtower the entire time, overhearing all of Diana's conversation, reaches out to Hunter and they come to an agreement, in order to save their future, Wonder Woman has to die.

Next issue: The kids are NOT alright.

3Story - 3: So in continuity, when does this story take place? Didn't they just leave the farm behind and move to Metropolis? As far as story goes, not much happens this issue to move the story along. There was no mention of Arthur's battle with Batman that we ended the previous issue with. We did however have a really Motherly moment with Mera and Eldora. Eldora questions if she will ever become her daughter, and Mera holds her and says you are today. That along with some great heart-to-heart Clark and Hunter moments saved this one from getting a lower score. With three issues left in Bryan Hitch's run on this book he has a lot to tie up in a short amount of time.

4Art - 4: The art on this arc continues to impress. I would love to see Fernando Pasarin stick around for the next writer who followers Hitch.

2Cover Art - 2: The story this cover depicts does not actually take place in this book... but it should. There's no sign of Arthur Curry at all, and unlike the last couple of covers, this one just does not really appeal to me.
