September 10, 2009: Superman and Batman Coming to Cricut

Two of the world's favorite DC Super Heroes - Batman and Superman - are coming to the Cricut Personal Cutting Machine as part of two new cartridges available from Provo Craft this fall.

Batman: The Brave and the Bold and Superman will be available to Cricut users in November 2009 at Cricut retailers. The cartridge will contain more than 750 images of the iconic heroes, including their masks and logos, each available to be cut into a variety of materials, from card stock to fabric to vinyl, at the push of a button.

"Batman and Superman are among the most recognizable characters in all of popular culture and enjoy a loyal, global fan following," said Tonia Conger, Provo Craft's VP of Marketing. "Cricut users will be able to create fun handmade projects for the hero in their lives. We're pleased to work with DC Comics to bring this to our Cricut users."

Superman is one of the most recognizable symbols of Truth, Justice, and the American way, and you can create your own adventures with this Superman cartridge. In addition to images of Superman, Clark Kent, Lex Luthor, and Supergirl, this cartridge contains an exciting comic-style font that is great for decorating scrapbooks, a child's room, or your own comic book. You can also cut out cards, envelopes, boxes, party favors, Clark Kent's glasses, and other decorations that would be perfect for an action-packed birthday party!
