March 13, 2009: Mattel Announces DCU Classics Series 9 Action Figures
Mattel has released details and images of the DC Universe Classics Series 9 Action Figures.For Superman fans, with the Guardian playing a major role in the current comic books, you can now add the Classic Guardian action figure to your collection.
The complete series 9 wave of figures includes: Deadshot, Black Adam, Black Canary, Classic Guardian, Green Arrow, Wildcat (black), Mantis (human), Mantis (robot), and Collect-and-Connect Chemo.
Note: The Guardian figure will indeed be the Classic Guardian and not the modern Guardian as shown at NYCC and in Toy Fare.
Look for a DC Universe Classics Ultraman and Alex Luthor 2 pack to go on sale April 15th, with a "Justice League Unlimited" Legion of Super Heroes pack available from May 15th.
