October 30, 2009: Marc McClure Joins Super Cruise
Actor Marc McClure (Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen) Joins the Super Cruise!The first Super-Celebrity has signed on for the maiden voyage of the Super Cruise. Superman movie actor Marc McClure (Jimmy Olsen) plans to join fans from around the world on a cruise to the Caribbean in March 2010.
In addition to starring as Jimmy Olsen in all four Christopher Reeve Superman films, as well as Supergirl, Marc was also featured in another famous movie series as Dave McFly in the Back to the Future films.
In addition to roles in Freaky Friday (and it's remake), Used Cars, I Wanna Hold Your Hand and Apollo 13, Marc returned to his "Super" roots in a 2008 episode of TV's Smallville as Kryptonian scientist Dax-Ur.
Fans are invited to join Marc on this 5-day, 4-night Super Cruise to the Caribbean which departs from Tampa, Florida on March 13th, 2010 with stops in Grand Cayman and Cozumel and enjoy a Q&A session, photo opportunities and an autograph session.
Other Superman-related guests will be announced soon as well as prices for this first-of-its-kind high seas event.
The Super Cruise will transport fans and friends to the exotic Caribbean complete with day trips, celebrity meet & greets, photo and autograph opportunities, onboard Superman-themed events and much more.
