Kiss

February 9, 2009: Patricia Marand Remembered on SupermanBobHoliday.com

Broadway's Lois Lane, Patricia Marand, is featured in a special tribute in the latest update of SupermanBobHoliday.com. Marand, who passed away on November 27th, was nominated for a Tony Award in 1966 for her performance as the feisty Daily Planet reporter in the acclaimed Hal Prince musical "It's a Bird, It's a Plane, It's Superman." In that role, she sang the show-stopping Charles Strouse/Lee Adams classics "It's Superman," "What I've Always Wanted," and "I'm Not Finished Yet," as well as the duets "We Don't Matter At All" (with Don Chastain) and "The Woman For the Man" (with Jack Cassidy).

Marand combined beauty and grace with an angelic, yet powerful singing voice. Learn more about her contribution to Superman's multimedia history in the latest update of SupermanBobHoliday.com.
