March 9, 2009: Commemorative Bricks On Sale for Noel Neill Statue
The up-coming 2009 Superman Celebration (June 11-14) will be remembered as the year that the six foot, bronze statue of Noel Neill was unveiled.Noel Neill has been a part of the Superman family for over 60 years. She first appeared as Lois Lane in the 1948 Superman serial with Kirk Alyn, but is most remembered for her role as Lois in the 1950s "Adventures of Superman" TV series with George Reeves. Most recently Noel starred as Gertrude Vanderworth in the 2006 movie "Superman Returns".
You too can be a part of this momentous occasion. Your name, your business, or your website can be featured on a commemorative brick placed around the base of the statue.

The revenue from all bricks and commemorative plaques will help pay for the sculpting and the placement of the statue which will be in close proximity to the existing Superman statue.
