August 21, 2012: Superman Homepage Social Media - Poll Position

In the latest Superman Homepage Member Poll we asked the question:

Which of the Superman Homepage's Social Media services do you use the most?

The vast majority of people who voted in this poll say they just use the website, and don't use any of our Social Media services. Obviously, since to vote in the poll you have to visit the website, many might consider this outcome was always going to be favorable towards the website-only people. However the poll question was posted across all the other services mentioned in the poll, so everyone had ample opportunity to participate in the poll.

While I'm thrilled that the website remains the main avenue for Superman fans to access the information we provide, it does raise some interesting questions when you compare the following figures.

The website has just over 5,000 members, but is visited daily by over 9,000 people. Our Twitter account has over 8,800 followers. Our Facebook Page has over 3,600 Likes. Our Facebook Group has close to 600 members. Our Google+ Page has been included in over 500 circles. Our YouTube account has over 650 subscribers.
