November 9, 2012: Superman Tops Sci-Fi Character Poll
Superman has been voted the Number One Science Fiction Character in a poll conducted by the makers of the board game Stratego.Superman (as played by Christopher Reeve) beat out Han Solo, Yoda, E.T. and Captain Kirk in a survey that polled 2,000 British people.
"Superman is the archetypal hero, and clearly as popular now as he was when he first appeared in comic books over 70 years ago," said Stratego's Marketing Manager Katherin Pierce.
The survey was conducted to mark the launch of new game Stratego Sci-Fi.
