July 12, 2012: Preview Night at the San Diego Comic-Con
By Luis & Ivan JaimeThis year's Preview Night was much more crowded than previous years. As we walked the convention floor, we stopped first at the DC Comics Booth.
They had a giant banner with Kenneth Rocafort's SUPERMAN.
On the outside of the booth was this giant group shot of the Justice League.
At the LEGO Booth, we spotted a DC Universe Playset with SUPERMAN, WONDER WOMAN and LEX LUTHOR with his giant battle suit.

MattyCollector.com booth was next, and a NEW 52 SUPERMAN was on display inside a blister pack.

At the Skelanimals booth, we found this display with the Skelanimal Justice League.
|
|
|
And finally we arrived at the LEGENDARY PICTURES booth. We asked the director of Public Relations what events would be occurring here at their booth for MAN OF STEEL.
He told us that there is nothing planned for right now, but if something does take place, it will most likely be after the Warner Bros. panel in HALL H on Saturday.
The only marketing they have for MAN OF STEEL is the SUPERMAN shield from the movie up by their giant monitor overhead.

On our way back we saw BATMAN, SUPERMAN and WONDER WOMAN all made out of Legos.
We ran into Superman on the Convention floor. After we took his picture, we asked for his name, and he said it was, "Clark Kent."
And finally, as it was getting close to the end of Preview Night, we took one last photo of the Convention Center floor. If you look closely, you can see the LEGENDARY PICTURES booth on the right side.

This concludes Preview Night at the San Diego Comic-Con. We'll be roaming the Convention Center for more SUPERMAN related items. And we'll keep you informed with updates regarding MAN OF STEEL.
