April 7, 2012: Turn Yourself into a Superman Action Figure

Custom Figure Hands up who has a Superman action figure or two or twenty in your collection? Now keep your hand up if you have a Superman action figure of yourself? Yeah, didn't think so. Well you can change all that...

Firebox.com are giving fans the opportunity to have their own likeness put on to the action figure of their choice.

    Thanks to Personalised Superhero Action Figures you can pop your own head on their buff shoulders. All you need are a couple photos and some basic DIY skills. Indeed, this build-it-yourself kit is so simple even a befuddled Hulk could manage it.

Apparently you send in photos of your head (front on and side on), and the company will create a fully-formed 3D version of your head (including eye color, skin tone and hair style). Once you have your head in your possession you pull the head off an existing Superman action figure of your choice (also supplied), and pop on the custom-made head they created for you.
