January 10, 2012: "Represent the S" Music Project

Represent the S "Represent the S" is a musical project initiated by the French label Soul Providers, the Canadian songwritter Cyril Orlay (AKA cee-jay GM) and the African producer Jao Andriamhiaja (AKA Crazy-jay) both members of the group the Groovenment.

The concept is simple: get together a compilation of songs related to the Man of Steel made by the fans themselves. A lot of fans are musicians themselves and this is an an opportunity for them to combine their 2 passions.

Every style of music will he considered, and every language as well, as Superman is a world-wide icon.

"Represent the S" has two goals:

  1. Raise funds for the CHRISTOPHER and DANA REEVE FOUNDATION
  2. Present the best songs in the compilation to WARNER MUSIC for a possible official release in conjunction with the up-coming "Man of Steel" film.

"Represent the S" is looking for your help and support. They're not asking for monetary support, just your help getting the word out to fellow Superman fans to bring together between 12 and 18 original songs for the compilation.

Any musicians who feel they have a song they would like to submit to this compilation should contact Cyril at represent.the.s@gmail.com.
