DC Silent Tales #1 There are six stories in this one shot. Each story focuses on a different DC character. As the title suggests, there are sound effects, but no dialogue in "DC Silent Tales". Those stories include: Haley Quinn in "Hammer Time!", described as Harley's hilarious hunt for a hammer! Cyborg in "Long Play," described as Cyborg relaxes with some new music but Gizmo has other plans! Zatanna in "Mr. Crowley," described as Zatanna's rabbit is in hot water after hunting for carrots in the wrong place! The Joker in "Gotham Gothic," described as Joker's latest heist leaves Batman stumped! And Lobo in "Suckers!", Lobo fights Nazi zombies.

Superman is featured in a story called "Bugs!" Lex Luthor has been experimenting with radioactive waste that creates a Godzilla sized ant. Superman makes quick work of the mutated ant followed by the police arresting Lex. After, Superman goes home to relax and carelessly throws his toxic covered suit in the garbage. This creates a new mutated bug that he also defeates with ease.

4Story - 4: After fighting mutated bugs Clark learns the importance of separating his garbage. With his traditional suit covered in toxic ooze, Superman dons a more Fleischer-esque suit with the black outlined "S" to fight the second mutated bug. Overall "Bugs!" is a fun all ages Superman story that I would recommend to new readers as well as current readers.

4Art - 4: Gustavo has a fun animated style that is great for all ages storytelling. As you would expect in a story with no dialogue, the art and storytelling has to do all the heavy lifting and Gustavo pulls it off well.

2Fábio Moon and Gabriel Ba Variant Cover Art - 2: Good storytelling, but wonky art.

3Rafael Albuquerque and Gustavo Durante 1:25 Variant Cover Art - 3: Good art, but still the second best cover.
