October 28, 2004: Brandon Routh - A Little Perspective
Many people have commented that they don't think Brandon Routh has the right look to be Superman... Personally I disagree. We're judging him on a few photos available online, photos of him before he's been molded into the character. To do so is unfair, and I'll give you prime examples why.Below we have three photos:
The one on the left is Christopher Reeve. This photo was taken in the late 1970s, and shows him with his natural color hair at the time.
The one in the middle is Tom Welling before taking on the role of Clark Kent in "Smallville".
On the right we have Brandon Routh.
Here are three actors, all before they took on the role of Clark Kent/Superman. That's a fairer comparison.
