July 22, 2004: Fan Film News
With the advancement of movie-making technology for the home user in recent years, Fan Films have not only become more prevalent, but they've improved immensely. In 2004 there are at least 4 fan films that I know of which feature Superman..."Batman: Madness" takes the Dark Knight character one step further by teaming him with the legendary Man of Steel in a battle against the villainous Mad Hatter and Poison Ivy. Starring Scott Cranford as Superman (pictured right).
"Superman: Luthor for President" is a 91 minute film based on the President Luthor story line from Superman comics a few years ago.
"Grayson" is a fan film 5 minute trailer (with exceptional cinematic qualities) based on a possible future where Batman has been killed and Dick Grayson decides to return as Robin to avenge his death.
"World's Finest" by Sandy Collora (maker of the fantastic "Batman: Dead End" short film) is a stunning 3 1/2 minute trailer about the two greatest Superheroes of all time together in one classic, action-packed adventure.
