May 20, 2004: Special Effects Team Chosen for Superman Movie?

The rumors seem to group close together...

Today, Cinescape has posted an article stating that a scooper has alerted them to the news that Warner Bros. has selected ESC Entertainment to produce the visual effects for the up-coming Superman movie.

ESC Entertainment is a San Francisco based company that created the bulk of the major visual effects sequences for the two MATRIX sequels, and are currently working on two more Warner Bros. movie projects, namely CATWOMAN and CONSTANTINE.

At the present time the website for ESC Entertainment does not list "Superman" among its list of projects. Given ESC's close ties to Warner Bros., it's more than feasible the studio chose to award the job to a company that has proven themselves more than capable in the past.
