December 21, 2004: Supergirl Movie Still a Few Years Away
Moviehole has confirmed with an insider over at Warner Bros. that there's no truth to the rumor that Melissa George (Alias) will be wearing the "Supergirl" suit.
Their source tell them that a new Supergirl movie is still a couple of years away from being given the green light. So it's safe to say no casting decisions have been made at such an early stage. It's likely the filmmakers will go for an unknown actor, much like Bryan Singer has done with casting Brandon Routh as Superman.
