January 16, 2013: Superman Panel Discussion at Cleveland University

Action Comics #1 Cleveland-based university Case Western Reserve will be hosting a Superman panel in March, discussing Superman's 75 year history.

After 75 years, is Superman - the politically, artistically, and culturally radical character created by two young Clevelanders - ready for a retirement home? Or a coup d'etat? This panel - planned in anticipation of the anniversary of Action Comics #1, the first appearance of Superman - includes Brad Ricca (moderator), Mike Olszewski, Michael Sangiacomo, and others. Sponsored by the Pop Culture Research Working Group.

Titled "The Superman Revolution: A Salute to the Man of Steel", the panel, which is free and open to the public, will take place on March 19 from 6.00pm-7.00pm in Clark Hall Room 206 of the Case Western Reserve University.
