January 6, 2013: Domo DC Superhero Figures Coming in February

Domo Superman Figure Domo (the official mascot of Japan's NHK television station) is a cute, monstrous and well-fanged creature who has become a superhero in the world of Internet memes. Now he'll be adorned in the superhero garb of DC Superheroes...

Warner Bros. Consumer Products, Funko and Big Tent Entertainment announced that five 4-inch Pop! vinyl-collectible figures will begin the series, with Domo donning the tights of Superman, The Flash, Green Lantern, the recent Dark Knight-era Batman and the classic Caped Crusader of old - perfect for those who always wished they could see a little fuzzy monster stepping in for the ginchy '60s Batman TV threads of Adam West.

"The ability for Domo to become literally anyone or anything has always been a cornerstone of the brand," said Richard Collins, CEO of Big Tent Entertainment. "We feel this partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products is the perfect project as it gives Domo a new exciting world of characters to play off of and opens him up to DC Comics' vast loyal fanbase."

In addition, Domo stars in a "Blind Box" mystery line of 2 and a half inch toys depicting nine different DC heroes and villains including Two-Face, the Riddler, Shazam and Aquaman, and online and brick-and-mortar retailers will also carry 1-inch Domo zipper-pulls.

We'll let you know when the Superman Domo figure is available to purchase via our Online Store.
