July 17, 2013: Cleveland Library Celebrating Superman's 75th Anniversary

CPL Exhibit The Cleveland Public Library currently has an Exhibit celebrating the Superman titled "From Cleveland to the World in a Single Bound: The 75th Anniversary of the Man of Steel.

"Superman was created by the creative minds of Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster right in Cleveland's Glenville neighborhood," said Felton Thomas, Director of CPL. "Celebrating 75 years of Superman is another reason to visit our Main Library and make it a great summer day in downtown Cleveland."

CPL Exhibit Hosted by Cleveland Public Library and The Ohio Center for the Book, "From Cleveland to the World in a Single Bound: The 75th Anniversary of the Man of Steel" is a showcase of Superman regalia, memorabilia, photographs, and sundry paraphernalia from Mike Olszewski, president of the Siegel and Shuster Society. Highlights from CPL's own collection of Superman books, graphic novels, photographs, and collectibles also complement the treasures throughout the exhibit.

The exhibit is currently on display at the Cleveland Public Library until September 14th. Visit the CPL.org website for more information.
