In the aftermath of the previously reviewed main story, children on a tour of the Hall of Justice wonder if, when and how the Justice League will return. Their guide, after telling them the team's history, reveals herself to be Clayface. He must steal Darkseid's Mother Box from the hall's museum for an unrevealed villain. Some kids take the device to prevent Clayface from having it. This puts them in grave danger. However, Wally West, the current Flash, rescues them. His speed heats up Clayface, drying him and turning him into a statue. The Flash then answers the youths' inquiries by saying it isn't important if, when or how the Justice League will come back. Who will be a part of it will be what matters the most.

5Story - 5: Perhaps this, along with the main story that's also in the regular edition, should be filed under "Too Soon To Review" because the "Justice League vs. The Legion of Super-Heroes" series finale has not been published as of this writing. That seems connected to "Justice League Incarnate," this and the "Dark Crisis" event. The story itself deserves a perfect score, but first and foremost, we are left with questions that need to be answered by "Justice League vs. The Legion of Super-Heroes".

This extra back-up is great in spite of my feelings about how it's been released. It's well-crafted and gives the reader hope after the main story knocks them for a loop. The cynic in me says that this supposed death of the Justice League will last a total of ten minutes, but the rest of me believes they never truly died because the concept and meaning live on no matter who is on the team thanks to this.

5Art - 5: I felt the style really works especially well for this back-up story. Had it starred someone from Superman or Batman's extended families, it would not have worked as well.
