As Reverse Slash heals Jokerzard, Atrocitaurus prepares them for war in the name of the Dark Embryo. Meanwhile, Giganta and Brontozarro have captured the humans occupying Metraaaghpolis, including Supersaur's foster parents. Batwalker (though he calls himself Batsaur in this issue) is rescued by the human child who followed him and Supersaur. The pair of reptilian heroes join forces to stop Giganta and Brontozarro when they meet Wonderdon, who jumps from her invisible steed Thunder Beak to battle Brontozarro and Giganta. Now three dinoheroes are face to face with the dinovillains who captured the people of Metraaaghpolis.

5Story - 5: If you are looking for a comic that will help you escape the madness of today's world, this one is it. It is perhaps the most fun I have had reading a comic recently. It blends frantic superhero action with prehistoric comedy like "Dinosaurs" or "The Flintstones". To call this series utterly brilliant at this point in time would be a severe understatement. That's how excellent "Jurassic League" is. It's a pity it's only a mini-series.

5Art - 5: I can't imagine another visual style for this book. It's a brilliant mix of "The Flintstones" and Walt Simonson combined with other elements to create truly wonderful comic art.

5Cover Art - 5: While I do think Supersaur would have made more sense for this cover, it's extremely difficult, if not impossible, to find any flaws in the art.

5Variant Cover Art - 5: It's not what I expected for a variant, and it's probably not what I would have chosen if I worked in DC's editorial department. I'm still on the fence about that. However, it is well drawn, and as they'd say on Captain Kirk's Enterprise, "It's Bones."
