October 28, 2008: No Superman for "Batman: The Brave & The Bold"
"Batman: The Brave and the Bold" is a new animated series premiering on Cartoon Network on November 14th. The series will see different DC Comics superheroes teaming up with Batman in each episode.Newsarama.com spoke with Michael Jelenic, editor/producer on the series, who revealed that Superman will not be part of the show's first season...
- Q: What about the Big Blue Boy Scout? After all, he's the one person Batman has shared the most time with outside of his personal crew.
MJ: I don't think you should expect to see him in the first 26. We're not ruling out that it will never happen. He's somebody we definitely want to save.
