September 25, 2008: "Smallville" Interviews, Spoilers and Video Clips

With tonight's airing of the second episode of Season 8 of "Smallville", we have a list of interviews, spoilers and other things "Smallville" happening around the web.

The CW released a promotional poster for Season 8 (shown right).

Erica Durance attended the recent Emmy Awards (see the photos below from the red carpet), and TV Guide's Matt Mitovich caught up with her at the TV Guide after-party, but somehow lost the video interview. He does give a few spoilers about a "kiss".

BuddyTV.com has also posted a video interview with Erica Durance in which she discusses Lois' journey in Season 8.

BuddyTV.com has posted an audio interview with Sam Witwer about his role as Davis Bloome. They've also transcribed the complete interview in which Sam reveals that his character is a "perpetual loner, he was raised in the foster system so he's a little bit moody, but he's really a very moral, cool individual".

Justin Hartley was interviewed on the Morning News @ 9 on KTLA where he spoke about archery, Season 8 of "Smallville", the back story of Oliver Queen, and more.

Allison Mack spoke with Jason C. on The CW Source about Chloe's powers and her relationship problems between Jimmy and Davis Bloome.

In spoiler news, EW's Ausiello reveals that "details are emerging on the blockbuster November sweeps two-parter (episodes 10 and 11) and they're so tantalizing that even I'm tempted to watch. Following Chloe's wedding to Jimmy, Brainiac slowly starts taking over Chloe's body. By episode 11, he has taken complete possession of her. And that, my friends, is just the tip of the iceberg."

The CW has also released a couple of photos from the up-coming 4th episode of Season 8 titled "Instinct" due to air on Thursday, October 9th.
