January 23, 2008: “Smallville” Convention Appearances & TV News
Laura Vandervoort, who plays Kara on "Smallville", will be appearing at the Emerald City ComiCon being held across May 10 & 11.Laura will be appearing both days and it's her first appearance in the northwest, so fans in the area should get out to meet her.
Before that, on April 12 and 13, Laura will be attending the Grand Slam Sci-Fi Summit with Aaron Ashmore (Jimmy Olsen), Phil Morris (Martian Manhunter), and Erica Durance (Lois Lane).
The Grand Slam Sci-Fi Summit, will take place at the Burbank Airport Marriott Hotel & Convention Center in Burbank, CA. James Marsters (Richard White from "Superman Returns") will also be there on Sunday April 13th.
While new episodes of "Smallville" start up again on January 31st in the U.S., Australian fans get new episodes of "Smallville" on the new TenHD channel starting tomorrow night (Thursday January 24th) at 7.30pm with the Season 6 episode "Freak".
