July 27, 2008: Geoff Johns Brings Legion of Super-Heroes to TV's "Smallville"
It was announced today at Comic-Con that the Legion of Super-Heroes is coming to TV's "Smallville" in an episode written by current "Action Comics" writer Geoff Johns. Comic Book Resources reports that Johns's script will remain true to Legion lore:
- "I think we're going to be able to stay pretty close to the origin of these characters," said Johns. "They are from 1,000 years in the future and they'll have flight rings and code names and everything else."
