March 12, 2008: “Smallville” Spoilers, News and Rumors
A few people have emailed in telling us that we didn't report on TV Guide's "Ask Ausiello" saying that "Nearly everyone is expected to return for Season 8 except - wait for it, wait for it - Michael Rosenbaum and Kristen Kreuk". We actually scooped Ausiello by a few days, reporting back on March 3rd that Kristin Kreuk (Lana Lang) will be back for at least a portion of the season, while Michael Rosenbaum (Lex Luthor) and Allison Mack (Chloe Sullivan) are still renegotiating their contracts. Our inside sources tell us that's all happening as we speak.Further rumors indicate that one of the main cast will actually die (permanently) in the April 17th episode titled "Descent". With E! Online's "Watch with Kristin" indicating that...
- I'm hearing someone gets paralyzed and someone gets dead. Both are pretty huge twists! ... Also, Lex is getting closer to figuring out Clark's secret.
