September 2, 2008: Hawkman/Birdman Mix-Up on "DC Super Heroes: The Filmation Adventures"
TVShowsonDVD.com has acquired a statement from Warner Home Video regarding a mix-up between Hawkman and Birdman on the DVD menu screens of Disc 1 of the "DC Super Heroes: The Filmation Adventures" collection.Apparently, Warner's artists made a mistake in some DVD menus by placing images of Hanna Barbera's "Birdman" instead of Hawkman. A spokesperson from Warner Bros. sent the following statement:
- Warner Home Video would like to address a mistake made on the menus of the DC Superheroes: The Filmation Adventures DVD sets. While each disc's menu should feature an image of the DC Comics character Hawkman, it instead has an image of the character Birdman. We apologize for the mistake and hope consumers will still see the value in the incredible cartoons featured on the actual DVDs.
