September 26, 2006: Matt Haley Talks “Superman Returns” Comic Adaptation
The Pulse caught up with artist Matt Haley to ask him about his work illustrating the comic adaptation of "Superman Returns". Here's part of the interview...
- Q: What did you enjoy about drawing Superman Returns? Was this your first time working with the Man of Steel?
A: I think so, I may have drawn him on some covers back in the day, I don't recall. I actually really liked drawing the 3-D S-Shield on his chest, I liked that very much. I'm a stickler for costume details, I like to try to get them exactly right. I didn't like all the S-shield relief on his boots, however, I mean, did he really stay up late using his heat vision to carve little "S"s all over the soles of his boots?
