December 22, 2006: The Search for the Ultimate Smallville Fan
The creators of the television show, Smallville, Al Gough and Miles Millar, have announced their search for the ultimate fans of the show.Today, December 22nd, 2006, the website www.ultimatesmallvillefan.com will go live. Fans can register online and upload or mail their videos showing why they should be considered an ultimate fan.
Submissions are limited to 15 seconds in length, and will be judged based on creativity, excitement, and personality. Full rules and regulations will appear on the website.
The submission period will end at 11:59 pm on January 17th, 2007, and the top submissions will be announced shortly thereafter.
The top three ultimate fans will be visited by a documentary crew to be filmed for a featurette available on the Smallville Season 6 DVD set.
