July 1, 2006: Superboy Now Superman in LSH Cartoon
ComicsContinuum is reporting that the new Kids' WB "Legion of Super Heroes" animated series will see the Boy of Steel called "Superman", not "Superboy" as originally announced.Whether this is in light of the recent legal issues surrounding the ownership of "Superboy" has not been confirmed, but seems likely.
In other Kids' WB news, look for the network to air a special called "Behind the Shield" on Saturday, July 15th, looking at the character of Superman. The event will also include a first look at the Legion of Super Heroes animated series.
