August 5, 2002: Details on New Smallville “Dragon” Novel
The Superman Homepage has been able to obtain information on the up-coming "Smallville" novel written by Alan Grant. Set for a November 2002 release, the 240 page paperback book is titled "Smallville: Dragon" and will be published by Warner Books.An original, all-new novel based on the hit TV show from the WB Network! Days before Lex Luthor's big party for the high school, Clark's wishes come true when Lana Lang unexpectedly leaves her boyfriend, Whitney, for him. Then suddenly Clark's powers - and his memories of them - vanish! Meanwhile, Ray Dansk, a paroled killer, returns to Smallville, where meteor-contaminated water gives him the fierce strength of a dragon, and a rage to pay back the town that sent him to prison. Unless Clark's memory and abilities return, Lex's mansion will become a charnel house where a villain's vengeance will slaughter the people of Smallville!
