March 27, 2002: Superman Artist Needed!
A message from Steven Kirk:Attention Comic Artists! "Superman" needs your help!
This year's Superman Drama at the Superman Celebration in Metropolis, Illinois will incorporate video elements, some of which require a couple of comic book pages similar to the opening of "Superman: The Movie".
Here's what I need: An artist who can accurately reproduce some stills from existing Superman elements as well as create new artwork incorporating an accurate likeness of Scott Cranford (The official Superman of Metropolis, IL) as the Man of Steel.
Here's what YOU need: To be considered, please e-mail me a sample of your work. The artists that I feel best convey the look and feel of the material will be e-mailed sample photos to reproduce in comic book form. The final decision will be made from those samples.
Here's a chance to get your artwork out there, and a great way to participate in this year's Superman Celebration!
