March 7, 2002: Circus Freak Develop Superman Game
Development Group Brings a Carnival of Fun to Video GamesCAMPBELL, Calif., March 6 /PRNewswire/ -- As the flap of a brightly painted tent flies open, an eerie green glow accompanies a haunting burst of calliope music, unleashing a unique game developer on the world.

Circus Freak Studios is currently developing Superman: The Man of Steel for the Xbox. Superman: The Man of Steel is based on DC Comics' Superman license and will be published by Infogrames, Inc. "We are thrilled to be working on Superman," says Esmurdoc. "At long last, there will be a game experience worthy of the Superman license. Superman is an archetypal character, a larger-than-life icon that towers over the landscape. We will make certain that the scale of our game is majestic enough to provide a backdrop for such a figure. Having the chance to portray the vast array of Superman's powers and create the definitive Superman game is the opportunity of a lifetime."
Early buzz on the game has been extremely positive. In the words of Official Xbox Magazine: "Superman is going to be massive!"
