November 26, 2017: "Justice League" Continues to Fly High Internationally

While fans in the USA don't seem to have embraced "Justice League" as well as perhaps Warner Bros. had hoped, the movie is doing much better in international markets.

Domestically the film placed second behind Disney/Pixar's "Coco", which scored the fourth-best Thanksgiving opening of all time behind "Toy Story 2", "Frozen" and "Moana". "Justice League" took in $59.7 million from 4,051 theaters for the five-day holiday frame (Wednesday-Sunday) and $40.7 million for the three-day weekend, a 57% decline.

Internationally however, the film was still the No. 1 film at the box office, taking in $72.2 million from 66 markets to pass the $300 million mark, bringing its global tally to $481.3 million so far.
