October 3, 2017: Empire Magazine Features New "Justice League" Interviews

As we reported a few days ago, for the first time in its publishing history Empire magazine will feature the Justice League on the cover of its upcoming November issue, with a feature article and interviews inside.

The subscriber cover of the magazine features artwork drawn by Jason Fabok, while the standard cover for the magazine (shown here) features (from left to right) Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, and Ezra Miller as The Flash. Only Henry Cavill's Superman is missing.

The magazine's interior gives us new quotes from the film's stars, with Gal Gadot explaining, "Justice League is not a dark or heavy movie. It doesn't have the weight that Batman v Superman had."

While Ben Affleck adds, "The movie's bigger in scale than any movie I've been involved with in my career. It feels massive in terms of the visual elements. That's something that Zack (Snyder, director) is really good at. That will be admired."

As for Henry Cavill, Affleck also weighs in on the issues Henry had with not being allowed to shave off his moustache. "It was a full-on porn-star moustache. He looked like a porn star from the '70s, just with a better body. It's a different twist [on Superman]."

You can check out the November edition of Empire magazine, which goes on sale Thursday, October 5.

"Justice League" will be released to theatres on November 17, 2017.
