February 22, 2016: "Justice League Part 1" Starts Shooting in April

Justice League According to EmpireOnline.com, cameras will start rolling on the first "Justice League" movie in April.

"The idea that we could begin to boot up a Justice League concept was a cool thing," Snyder tells Entertainment Weekly. "It was a little bit of an 'about time' moment, and I don't blame the studio for feeling that way, because it's a long time coming," he said. "But I do feel like it's a little bit of a creative hurdle. It seems like an easy thing to do at first glance, the idea that, 'Oh, we just get the rest of the superheroes in there.' But you have to [establish] a world where they can exist."

April 11 is apparently the date for the cameras to start rolling on the big superhero team-up, with that schedule just two scant weeks after the release of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, which of course tees into the Justice League films. The likes of Jason Momoa's Aquaman, Ezra Miller's The Flash and Ray Fisher as Cyborg will get their proper chance to show their stuff in the first Justice League outing after cameos in Dawn of Justice.

"Justice League Part 1" is currently targeting a November 17, 2017 release.
