October 18, 2014: Lex Luthor Benefit Brings Stars to Filming

SPOILER WARNING: Details on what was filmed at the Broad Art Museum in East Lansing over the past few days is revealed below.

A letter sent to Latino-Review.com by an extra who (going against the confidentiality agreement they signed) revealed that the scene filmed at the Broad Art Museum in East Lansing was not at Luthor's home as many had speculated, but was at the Metropolis Central Library, where a party was being held to celebrate its reopening...

Other small details tied to that scene, the movie will have an almost red carpet montage where the rich and famous are asked their views about the Superman who appeared in the public eye recently. The red carpet setup is attached, and will include both Bruce Wayne and Lex Luthor being asked that question by Lois Lane and Clark Kent on the carpet.

Photos taken by Bananadoc reveal many of the main cast arriving on location for filming of the above-mentioned scene, including Jesse Eisenberg, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Amy Adams, Tao Okamoto, Holly Hunter, and Ben Affleck.

Meanwhile, our good friend, Superman fan and FOX TV news reporter Jay Towers interviewed "Batman v Superman" Casting Director Maryellan Aviano, who revealed that some additional casting of extras was taking place today, with people with marching experience required. It was also revealed that Jay himself had been involved as an extra for the movie, and will appear in the film when it's released. Congrats Jay!
