January 24, 2014: James Tucker Reveals Plans for Future of DC Animated Movies

Justice League: War In an interview with the Superman Homepage conducted during the World Premiere of "Justice League: War" on January 21 in New York City, Producer James Tucker told us that Warner Bros. Animation plans to continue creating New 52 based animated movies, interspersed with other non-continuity stories on a two-to-one ratio.

With "Flashpoint Paradox" and "Justice League: War" all indications were that Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment were going to concentrate on New 52 comic book stories only moving forward. When asked about the possibility of seeing pre-New 52 stories adapted into animated films Tucker revealed that after "Justice League: War" they'll be doing their own stories "in continuity based off of that starting point". However he added, "The plan is to do two movies in continuity and then one movie that's an offshoot. So that doesn't keep us from going back and adapting some of those other stories."

Check out the interview below, which is included amongst a series of interviews conducted at the World Preimere of "Justice League: War".

Many thanks to reporter T.A. Ewart who attended the event and conducted these interviews for the Superman Homepage.
