February 27, 2014: "Man of Steel" Nominated for Three Saturn Awards

Saturn Awards The Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films today announced nominations for the 40th Annual Saturn Awards, which will be presented in June, with "Man of Steel" receiving nominations in three different categories.

For the Saturn's 40th Anniversary celebration, two new categories have been added to reflect the changing times, with Best Comic-to-Film Motion Picture seeing "Man of Steel" duking it out against Marvel's "Iron Man 3", "Thor: The Dark World" and "The Wolverine".

Dylan Sprayberry, who played teenage Clark Kent in the film, has been nominated for Best Performance by a Younger Actor. While the Visual Effects team of Joe Letteri, Josh Desjardin and Dan Lemmon are also nominated for an award.
