January 20, 2002: SciFi Wire Interview Michael Rosenbaum
Michael Rosenbaum, who plays Lex Luthor in The WB's hit Superman series, "Smallville", told SCI FI Wire that he knows his character is destined to be evil--but he doesn't want it to happen right away. Here's an excerpt from the interview..."I talk to the writers, and when there's something that's questionably evil, I say, 'You know what? Not yet,'" Rosenbaum said in an interview during The WB's winter press tour in Pasadena, Calif. "And they're like, 'No, no. This is good, because then we show that it was OK, like he had good intentions.' [But] he does things that show that dark side. People will f--k with him. That's when you see Lex. [But] he's [still] a good guy. He's a good judge of character."
