June 11, 2013: Comic Legend Al Plastino to Appear at Florida Supercon
Legendary comic book artists Al Plastino will be the guest of honor at this year's Florida Supercon.While Plastino's work in the comic book industry is vast, dating back as early as 1941, Superman fans may be more familiar with his contributions to DC Comics titles, such as Superboy and Superman's Girlfriend, Lois Lane. Plastino later worked on Action Comics with Otto Binder with whom he co-created the Legion of Super-Heroes, Brainiac, and Supergirl.

Florida Supercon will take place from July 4 to 7 at the Miami Airport Convention Center and Doubletree Hotel.
