October 9, 2013: Brutal Superman Returns to "Earth 2"
Presumed dead at the end of the very first issue of the "Earth 2", Superman made a startling return at the end of issue #16 of the monthly comic book series.Revealed to be the true identity of the villain known as Brutal, Superman (either possessed, reanimated or brain-washed) is now under the control of Darkseid, and is ready to set Earth 2 ablaze in issue #17 available November 6.
